NU-WRF Version 9 ("Charney") released.
NU-WRF Version 9 (v9-wrf391-lis72) ("Charney") was released on 13 December 2017.
WHAT CHANGED:
* Upgrade to WRF 3.9.1
- Includes 2017 Goddard radiation (uses one LUT: BROADBAND_CLOUD_GODDARD.nc)
- New longwave and shortwave radiation options are ra_lw_physics=57 and
ra_sw_physics=57 respectively.
- Update Registry.EM_COMMON and Makefile as needed.

NOTE: Development source code, for versions greater than or equal to
Bjerknes patch 4, is now being tracked in a Git repository. The new URL is:

KNOWN BUGS:
LIS only supports up to 3 grids.
Intel MPI hangs on Discover for large (> 2000 cpu) jobs. Use SGI MPT instead for big jobs.
KNOWN ISSUES:
CASA2WRF is not using netCDF4/HDF5 compression in output.
