Weather Research & Forecasting Model (WRF) 

The Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) Model is a next-generation mesoscale numerical weather prediction system designed to serve both atmospheric research and operational forecasting needs. The model serves a wide range of meteorological applications across scales from tens of meters to thousands of kilometers. The Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology (MMM) Division of NCAR supports the WRF system to the user community and maintains the WRF code.
